Thank you so much for making the 2003 Oktoberfest such a success!

We had a tremendous Oktoberfest this year and appreciate all of the hard work of our members, which made it possible!  This year, our featured entertainment was Hotz 'n Plotz, who have performed at the Hofbrauhaus in Munich over 1,000 times.  They have toured the US, Japan, England, France, Italy, and Morocco and bring "gemütlichheit" to their audiences with their mastery of the accordion, saxophone, guitar, keyboard, trumpet, tuba, alpenhorn, washboard, and zither.

The official opening of the ceremony was announced by honorary German consul, Bernard Buecker.  The performing organizations of the Beethoven, the Maennerchor, Damenchor, Kinderchor, Band and Volkstanzverein entertained our many audience members throughout the festivities.  Also performing were the Fire on the Mountain Cloggers, Cadence Cloggers, Hermann Sons Polkatiers, and Ft. Sam Houston German Band.

As usual, we had German food and drink available for purchase including Bratwurst, Knockwurst, Potato Pancakes, and much more.  And we also offered many German wines and beers, as any self-respecting Oktoberfest would!  Enjoy the photos of our 2003 Oktoberfest and join us next year!
