Kristkindlmarkt Vendor InformationFourteen years ago, the Beethoven Damenchor recreated one of the loveliest German holiday traditions when we established the first San Antonio Kristkindlmarkt. In Germany, this is an open-air market where vendors sell items of the Christmas season like decorations, holiday food specialties, and gifts such as toys, ornaments, handcrafted items, etc. Located in the historic King William area of San Antonio, we are pleased to say that our Kristkindlmarkt is growing every year. We are listed on the official calendars of the city of San Antonio, the Convention and Visitors Bureau, and Texas Tourism. We invite you to participate at our Kristkindlmarkt on Saturday, December 1, 2007 as a vendor selling your wares. A space is an 8' x 3' table with about 3' to 4' of space behind the table. We welcome a variety of quality items, but please no garage sale items. To reserve your space, you must send the following information, along with a cashier's check or money order of $30 donation for each space, to Beethoven Damenchor, Attention Kay Locker, 422 Pereida St., San Antonio, TX 78210. Name A word of caution. Baked goods, candy or any kind of food items that you prepare and plan to sell in San Antonio must be prepared in an "approved source" i.e., a facility that is under inspection and/or licensed by a health authority. It would be a good idea to have a receipt or documentation from the owner / manager or the facility where the food was prepared. If it is discovered that food is prepared "at home", it is subject to confiscation by a San Antonio Health Department inspector. |
