Fiesta Gartenfest

Fiesta, a ten day extravaganza honoring the Texan heroes who fought for independence from Mexico, brings throngs of visitors to the Alamo city.  The Beethoven Maennerchor organizations are an integral part of Fiesta.  The Home and Garten hosts a three day Fiesta Gartenfest, which features entertainment from its own ranks and from other groups from the area, along with German foods, beer, and wine, and spirit of Fiesta.  On Thursday night, the entourage of King Antonio makes a visit, toasting to continued gemuetlichkeit.

The Beethoven also floats down the river in the Cavalier's River Parade.  Over 100,000 people sit on the banks of the river to view the Fiesta royalty, bands, and celebrities on colorfully decorated barges..
